We took this spot because it was the cheapest place we could find for hook up campervan camping. The electricity worked fine, but the ameneties were not great. The toilet building is not fully closed. If you need to go at night, you have to bring a flashlight and twice did we encounter what seemed to be like a mountain lion. The showers are a 13 minute walk one-way from the camp site. You also need to press the button every 30 seconds so the water keeps coming out. If you are a true camper and used to this, then go for it. But if you are used to caravan park camping, this is very different. On the plus side, a few hiking trails start from the camp site.

Horrible experience. Will not be coming back.. hire some people that know what they are doing, they literally had to bring out the book even with the park manager in the booth to tell me a rule they weren't even sure of... That's crazy. What a shame.

Campsite was unexpectedly closed due to extreme fire risk, but staff were great and very helpful. So we never actually stayed there but staff was helpful with alternatives. Will try again next time.
